first year flames abroad

The First-Year Flames Abroad Program is a program designed for incoming first-year students with a study abroad educational experience prior to the beginning of their first academic semester at UIC. This program aims to integrate the benefits of a study abroad program with the transitional needs of incoming new students, specifically those who are first-generation college students. This unique twist on a study abroad experience will provide participants with an opportunity to gain a global perspective, while also impacting their transition to UIC.
