Motivating each other to get to the top!

Today we visited La Fortuna, a small town in Costa Rica, near the capital of San Jose. In La Fortuna we saw a stunning waterfall called Fortuna Waterfall. La Fortuna has many differences from San Jose for many reasons but one thing that didn’t change was that the locals were so welcoming and friendly, their hospitality was unforgettable. Our very helpful guide Angie told us about this beautiful destination for days, she told us about the waterfall and volcano we would visit in La Fortuna. It indeed did live up to the hype. 

It was beautiful with different animals like toucans, sloths, agoutis, snakes, lizards, and monkeys. We had to hike down about 500 stairs which were fairly easy but not so much. But once down it was stunning, the fresh breeze of the fresh air and the cool water was a great way to get refreshed after the hike, it felt like a reward. We had a great time swimming in the water and taking lots of pictures so we would forget this amazing experience. But all good things came to an end and we had to hike up those 500 stairs, we split into groups of 4 and as a group motivating each other, we got to the top of the stairs and felt POWERFUL like we could climb any obstacle that came our way!
